I absolutely love Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker, and the Waltz of the Flowers is such an exciting selection from it! This arrangement for four violas can be played by just four players in a chamber group, or a larger viola orchestra divided into four sections.
In my viola choir arrangements, the roles of melody, bass, and accompaniment are shared evenly between all parts, giving everyone an equal experience!
